4 Reasons To Start A Bullet Journal

If you have talked to me at all over the last few months, you've probably seen  the black and white notebook that never leaves my side. Now, even though I'm not keeping a diary or a making a journal of all the things that I hear and see throughout the day that I could turn into a song, short story, or poem, that black notebook is still very important. That's because I've recently put myself into the family of bullet journalists all over the world.

Bullet journaling is a fancy way of saying "I'm making my own planner out of to do lists and trackers". I've given up on Erin Condren  and Lilly Pulitzer for making the best planner, and now I'm doing it for myself.  If you're finding that it's difficult to keep your life on track and regular planners are hard to keep up with, here are 4 reasons why you should start your own bullet journal.

4 Reasons to Start a Bullet Journal

1. You can make however you like

Even though there are general guidelines for bullet journals, ultimately the bullet journal is something you create and work on until you're absolutely pleased with your layout. This is the reason why I love bullet journaling is the aspect of creating your own layouts. I have created the EC Lifeplanner layouts, and the Day Designer layouts and have all kinds of trackers.

2. It's just a bunch of "to do lists"

It is much more satisfying to check off your tasks then just writing your tasks in your planner.

3. You can keep track of anything and everything

I tend to keep of reading lists, meal plans, habits, bucket lists, routines, and cleaning tasks. I also keep track of grocery lists and movies and tv shows that I would like to watch.

4. It will definitely keep you organized

Even though I still you use a planner, my bullet journal also helps me stay organized.
