Fall is here, and with it comes cooler weather, cozy vibes, and the perfect opportunity to refresh your planner with some seasonal accessories. Whether you’re looking to add a touch of autumn to your daily spreads or want to increase your planner’s functionality, the right accessories can make all the difference.
In today’s post, we’re diving into the top 5 must-have planner accessories for the fall season. These essentials will not only keep you organized but also make your planner feel as cozy and festive as your favorite pumpkin-spiced latte!
Nothing says “fall” like autumn-themed stickers and washi tape! These are absolute must-haves if you want to give your planner pages a seasonal makeover. You can find stickers with pumpkins, leaves, cozy sweaters, Halloween icons, and more to decorate your spreads. Fall-themed washi tape adds color and personality to your layouts without overwhelming the page.
Why it’s essential:
Stickers and washi tape are quick and easy ways to add a personal, creative touch to your planner. They make your pages look visually appealing and help you section off areas for to-do lists, notes, or special events.
Where to use them:
Switching up your pen colors for fall is an easy way to add some seasonal flair to your planning routine. Think warm tones like oranges, browns, deep reds, and golds to give your planner a cozy, autumnal feel. Whether you’re color-coding tasks or simply making your daily spreads look a little more festive, autumn-colored pens are an absolute must.
Why it’s essential:
Color-coding can enhance your organization, and adding fall-inspired hues helps bring the season to life in your planner. It’s a simple, effective way to stay on top of your schedule while keeping things seasonal.
Where to use them:
Keeping track of where you are in your planner can be a challenge, especially if you’re flipping between monthly, weekly, and daily layouts. Magnetic bookmarks and planner clips not only help you stay organized, but they also add a stylish and practical element to your planner setup.
Why it’s essential:
Magnetic bookmarks and clips allow you to easily access important pages without having to search through your planner. They also come in adorable fall-themed designs, like pumpkins, leaves, or cute animals, to give your planner that extra seasonal flair.
Where to use them:
Sticky notes are a planner essential all year round, but fall-themed sticky notes bring a seasonal twist to this versatile accessory. Whether you use them for jotting down quick reminders, making lists, or adding notes to your planner, they come in various fall shapes and designs—like leaves, pumpkins, and acorns.
Why it’s essential:
Sticky notes help you stay flexible with your planning. You can move them around as needed without altering your planner layout. Plus, adding cute fall designs just makes your planning process more fun and visually pleasing.
Where to use them:
Planner dashboards and seasonal inserts are a great way to introduce some structure and functionality to your planner for fall. You can customize dashboards with inspirational fall quotes, fall-themed mood boards, or even use them as a space to jot down goals or seasonal to-dos. Inserts like daily habit trackers, fall event planners, and holiday prep pages can help you stay organized throughout the season.
Why it’s essential:
Dashboards and inserts allow you to personalize your planner in a way that fits your lifestyle. Seasonal inserts keep your fall activities, tasks, and goals organized, while a decorative dashboard can set the tone for the rest of your month.
Where to use them:
For those who want to take it a step further, consider scented planner accessories, like scented pens or bookmarks. You can find cinnamon, pumpkin spice, or apple-scented options to give your planning routine an extra sensory experience. It’s a fun, unique way to fully immerse yourself in the fall season!
Get Ready to Fall into Organization! With these five must-have planner accessories, you’ll be able to add a seasonal touch to your planning routine and stay organized as the busy fall months begin. Hi Friends!!
I can't believe that September is already here! It's the time for chunky sweaters, boots, forts, movie nights, apple cider, and yummy fall inspired treats. Shorter days and longer nights are on the horizon. It’s ALMOST socially acceptable to have all the pumpkin things, and put that fall decor out. Football season is here and the temps are starting to somewhat cool down. And homeschool is in full swing! It’s time for me to share my September goals with you guys.
Work Goals
Summer is a great time to work on health goals. It can be easy to just let things go but it’s also a good time to kick things up a notch. I know personally I have some health goals I want to check off this summer and these are my favorite ways to stay healthy in the summer.
Favorite Ways To Stay Healthy In The Summer
Get outside before it’s too hot: I LOVE going for walks but living in Oklahoma (or anywhere in the south) in the summer that can be challenging.
Take advantage of the seasonal items: This is a great time of year to be making smoothies and salads. So many delicious fruits and veggies around. I also love to make smoothies and freeze them into popsicles for the kids!
Utilize the slower days: Summer can be busy but more often than not it is a slower pace. This is so good for my mental health. Not having to rush around and getting to just be and enjoy our home with our family. Taking this time to organize, throw away, clean out etc.
Use a GOOD spf: One of the most important things is to make sure you are using SPF every day. Not just on your face but your entire body, your hands etc. Your hands are exposed to the sun in your car and all over.
Try a new workout class: Summer is a great time while you have more time to try new things! Especially new workouts or workout classes.
Drink MORE water: You will get so dehydrated in the summer so making
sure you are challenging yourself to drink more water is important!
Hi friends and welcome back to the blog!!
I can't believe that summer is over that we start our 4th year of homeschooling tomorrow. It's been a slow and fun summer but I think we are all ready for more of a routine.
Today, I am sharing my goals for this month.
It's hard to believe that 2024 is now officially halfway over. Weren't we just writing about all of our resolutions for the year? Yikes! As cliche as it may sound, time has really flown by this year. Even with all of the craziness that has been going on lately.
Family Goals
I cannot believe that it's already June! While March and April crept
by (homeschool continued), it seems that
May just flew by (end of our homeschool year and practicing marital arts with my oldest (Mom is the punching bag!)
Time and place: 10:40pm and I am in the dining room, typing up this post.
Watching: Still watching Manifest on Netflix. I'm also re-watching Gilmore Girls, and Cobra Kai.
Reading: I'm reading Every Last Secret by A.R. Toree
I'm trying to find a new book to read either by Lisa Jackson or Fredia McFadden
Loving: Being able to sit down after a long day of housework and taking care of my family and read my book for a little while.
I
am not someone who deals with stress well. Yesterday I had a really
stressful day. I lost my temper with my oldest (I still feel bad about
that), I argued with my husband over something stupid and just in
general, one annoyance after another. That’s what gave me the idea for
this post. I
want to share 10 things to do when you’re stressed that you can stop and
easily do!
Vent: I usually vent to my husband. When I am
stressed I need to just get it out. Thank god I have the most
understanding person in my life. My Husband’s first response is always “how
can I help?” Ladies never settle, find a man who asks how he can help.
Meditate/Yoga: I love doing a 10 minute Yoga workout to calm myself down. My
favorite on YouTube are from Yoga with Adriene. Her channel is fantastic.
Go workout: If you are able to just say screw it and go to the gym. Running, or lifting will definitely get you de-stressed.
Eat something comforting: I’m sure not everyone will
agree with this but you know what made me feel better last Friday?
French fries. Sometimes you just have to have the fries, or the pizza,
or whatever it is.
Listen to a song you love: Having a great playlist of songs that
get you in a great mood is so helpful! For me right now that’s ANYTHING
from the 80s
Listen to a podcast that will uplift you: You can find a bunch of
podcast posts here. I love to listen to an uplifting podcast when I am
stressed. Or even just a really funny one!
Read: I love to escape in a great book. Nothing is better than
finding a new book to love. This is the one that I am reading right now.
Time and place: 11:11pm and I am in the dining room, typing up this post.
